Intelligent Message Filter (IMF) is an excellent server-side message filtering product from Microsoft designed to help Exchange administrators batlle the never-ending flow of spam (also known as UCE - unsolicited commercial email). IMF is an add-on to Exchange Server 2003 that you can use with Service Pack 1 and is included with Service Pack 2. This video walks you through how to install and configure IMF for use with Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2. You'll learn how to configure IMF and how to install IMF for Exchange. Once you install IMF it is integrated within Exchange System Manager as the tab Intelligent Messaging Filter. IMF is an excellent tool for fighting spam and, even though it isn't perfect, it's a very good tool to learn.
