In the previous video in this series, we took a look at our existing Exchange 2003 infrastructure, our domain controller and Active Directory configuration, and our new machine that we plan on installing Exchange 2007 onto (a new 64-Bit machine) so we're now ready to install Exchange 2007 on a new server. A lot of people start wondering: do I have to choose between Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007? No - the main thing that will happen here is that the Exchange 2007 software on this server. The Exchange 2007 software will communicate with your existing Exchange 2003 network and it will utilitize the information that is stored within the Active Directory.
